「Local to Global」――NABの国際展開、最初の舞台はコスタリカ。

このたび、中米コスタリカの日本国大使館様とJICAコスタリカ支所様のご後援により、国立技術大学（UTN）様とオンラインAIセミナーを7月に実施することとなりました。ビジネス現場でのAI活用や社会貢献事例、実務で役立つAI技術の最新動向などをテーマに、UTNの学生および中米諸国の企業の皆様を対象に、2回の実施を予定しています。

コスタリカは倫理や包摂性、デジタル格差解消に力を入れたAI国家戦略を推進し、中米地域のデジタル変革を牽引しています。国際AIガバナンス構築でも積極的な役割を果たし、G7広島サミットの「広島AIプロセス」や、日本総務省との覚書締結など、国際連携も進めています。

NABは創業直後より日本国大使館を通じてコスタリカ政府及び教育機関と意見交換を重ね、AI教育や地域社会へのAI応用などについて議論してきました。今回のセミナー開催が実現できたのも、関係者の皆さまのご尽力によるものであり、心より感謝申し上げます。

私たちはAIツールの開発や活用方法に限らず、「AIをどのように事業や社会で役立てるか」を重視しています。今後も、にいがたAIビジネスおよびコーポレートGPTグループは、AIの民主的活用を国際的に推進し、地域と世界をつなぐ懸け橋として挑戦を続けてまいります。

“Local to Global” — The First Step of NAB’s International Expansion Begins in Costa Rica.

We are pleased to announce that, with the kind support of the Embassy of Japan in Costa Rica and the JICA Costa Rica Office, we will be hosting an online AI seminar this July in collaboration with "Universidad Técnica Nacional (UTN)", the National Technical University of Costa Rica.

The seminar will be held twice, targeting students of UTN as well as companies across Central America, and will focus on topics such as practical applications of AI in business, socially impactful case studies, and the latest trends in AI technologies that are useful in real-world operations.

Costa Rica is leading the digital transformation in Central America with a national AI strategy that emphasizes ethics, inclusiveness, and bridging the digital divide. The country is also actively engaged in shaping international AI governance, as evidenced by its involvement in the G7 Hiroshima Process and the signing of a memorandum of cooperation with Japan's Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.

Since our founding, NAB has continuously engaged in dialogue with the Costa Rican government and educational institutions through the Embassy of Japan, discussing AI education and the application of AI for local communities. This seminar would not have been possible without the dedication and support of all parties involved, and we extend our deepest gratitude.

At NAB and the Corporate GPT Group, we place importance not only on developing AI tools and methods of implementation, but also on how AI can truly serve businesses and society. We will continue our efforts to promote the democratic use of AI on a global scale and to act as a bridge connecting regional and international communities.
